Terms of Use

These conditions govern use of Lampasas County Criminal History. Accessing a page, reading its content, or submitting a search means that the user accepts the terms below. Anyone who does not agree should stop using the site.

NO FCRA USE. This private website has no affiliation with Lampasas County, the State of Texas, or any government body. It and its advertising partners do not provide a consumer reporting service. Information found here may not be used for credit, employment, insurance, tenant screening, or any other purpose regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

1. What This Website Is

Lampasas County Criminal History is an independent reference resource. It does not hold official files, retrieve criminal records, run official checks, or submit documents for a user.

The site points to custodians that include the Lampasas County Sheriff, District and County Clerks, Texas Department of Public Safety Crime Records Division, and Texas Public Sex Offender Registry. It may also connect readers to independent research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

Users agree not to:

  • Interfere with site access or degrade performance for others
  • Use bots, scraping software, or another automated collection method
  • Attempt unauthorized entry into an account, server, or system

  • Use the content for a decision governed by the FCRA
  • Violate any applicable federal, Texas, or local law

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

No information available here or through a linked service may be used to harass, stalk, threaten, intimidate, or unlawfully discriminate against another person. Texas Code of Criminal Procedure Chapter 62 specifically limits misuse of Texas Public Sex Offender Registry data. That information serves safety and awareness, not punishment or vigilantism.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

Neither this site nor its advertising partners creates consumer reports, credit reports, or background checks for a purpose controlled by the FCRA. Users must not rely on site content or a linked tool to:

  • Make an employment decision

A legally permissible official check should be obtained through the Texas Department of Public Safety or an appropriate FCRA-compliant provider.

5. No Legal Advice

The material is general information, not legal advice. It cannot determine how Texas expunction, nondisclosure, a warrant, a pending charge, or a judgment applies in an individual case. A licensed Texas attorney can advise on those questions.

6. No Warranties

The site and all content are supplied "as is." No warranty is made that:

  • A page or partner result is complete, correct, or current
  • The service will always remain available without interruption
  • The pages contain no defect, bug, or security weakness
  • An independent search provider will return a thorough or accurate match

Charges, dockets, custody status, and access restrictions can change. Only the government office that maintains a Lampasas County or Texas record can confirm its current contents.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Links can lead to county offices, Texas agencies, court systems, legal organizations, or independent search services. Those destinations are outside our control. We are not responsible for their accuracy, availability, charges, content, or data practices. Their own conditions govern use.
